Education of girls has been a high priority with the Government of India. The National commitment to provide free and compulsory education to all children in the 6- 14 years age group is now a Fundamental Right of every child in India and therefore a lot is being done by Government of India and other NGO towards primary education of girls. Despite progress made in the country's general education system majority of girl students from rural areas drop their studies due to the fact that there are no colleges in the vicinity to provide quality education at higher level.
Keeping in mind the difficulties faced by girls from rural areas to continue their studies at higher level "Gyandeep” the lamp of knowledge has been lit by our founder and manager “Shri Abhay Kumar Bajpai”. “Gyandeep Kanya Mahavidyalaya” as a part of it is committed to provide access of qualitative higher education to the rural girl students at their doorstep.
Initially “Gyandeep Kanya Mahavidyalaya” will be imparting education at Under Graduate level in Arts and Home Science stream, the management is also planning for Science & Commerce streams along with PG and professional courses like B.Ed. in upcoming years.
